I am home- with limited internet access since my parents are living in a new house and my precious laptop is not connected to wireless yet. Sorry for the delay, but in case anyone is wondering whether I made it back or not, the answer is yes. As soon as I have wireless the pictures from saying goodbye will go up. In the summer of 2010 I lived in Beit Sahour (in the West Bank) as an extension of the Tree of Life Journey, the annual interfaith trip organized by the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme. The purpose of my return was to forge a deeper relationship with the community of Beit Sahour, generate awareness of peaceful conflict resolution efforts, and also to demonstrate American support for the plight of the Palestinians. Pictured below is the separation barrier between Israel and the West Bank.
